          Artemia is a genus of aquatic crustaceans known as brine shrimp. Artemia populations are found worldwide in saltwater lakes but not in the oceans. The ability of the artemia to produce eggs has led the extensive usage of artemia in aquaculture feeding. Brine shrimp nauplii is the name of the small first hatched artemia from the cyst that is very small size and rich of nutrients for the fish larva.
          

          Brine shrimp or Artemia is the ideal food for most of fish species because the good nutritional value, the low incidence of parasitic infestation for fish because they grow in saltwater and can be used started from hatching until the adult stage. Furthermore, the eggs of Artemia can be safely kept for very long time as far as they are far away from the humidity and the oxygen.
